(Overview)
Forge Mansion is a brand that refines atmospheres through scent and sculptural objects, adding subtle depth and sensory richness to spaces. Beyond the simple act of burning incense or placing objects, its essence lies in enabling users to experience refined beauty and quiet stillness in their daily lives.
This project set out to reimagine the website so that the brand’s philosophy and aesthetic mood could be fully experienced in the digital environment.
(Goal)
The primary goal of this redesign was to allow users to experience Forge Mansion’s distinctive objects not merely as product listings but as if they were exploring a living showroom. Rather than presenting the brand’s mood and sculptural quality as static information, the design aimed to create a journey where users unconsciously absorb the brand’s sensibility by seeing, enjoying, and feeling as they browse. Ultimately, the intention was to shift perception of the products from simple purchase items to experiential objects that seamlessly enrich everyday life.
(Solution)
On the main page, the brand’s philosophy and signature objects were placed prominently to leave a striking first impression. A modern sans-serif typeface was chosen to harmonize with the objects, emphasizing a refined and contemporary mood, while text size and color were deliberately minimized to preserve consistency and elegance.
For the detail pages, an image-driven three-column layout was applied, designed to evoke the feeling of flipping through a brochure, allowing users to absorb both visuals and product information seamlessly as they scroll.
This holistic approach reveals Forge Mansion’s essential allure without distortion, transforming the online environment into an experience where users can naturally immerse themselves in and connect with the brand’s philosophy and distinctive aesthetic mood.
